Composition

Active substance: phenolic compounds from Rhododendron Ungernii
 
Ointment base: monoglyceride
 
Fragrance: fragrance oil
 
Pharmacological action: Particularly effective against the herpes virus. Prevents the formation of new rashes, reduces the likelihood of cutaneous dissemination  and visceral complications, accelerates the disappearance of the bubble eruption, crusts, reduces pain in the acute phase of herpes zoster.

Indications: Simple, recurrent herpes, herpes-zoster. Acute and chronic recurrent aphthous stomatitis.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the drug

Side effects: In rare cases, possible allergic reactions.

Dosage and administration: The affected areas of skin and mucous membranes coated with a thin layer of ointment 4-5 times a day, when applied to the oral mucosa did not receive food and water for 20-30 minutes. The course of treatment is 5-10 days. With herpes zoster to simultaneously take pills Zovirax (acyclovir).
